Olver’s Theory of Asymmetric Scale Continuity

OTASC examines how continuity may be maintained through asymmetric transfer across nested systems, boundaries, impedance conditions, and scales.

Current status: independently developed proposed theory under formalization, prediction registration, and experimental development.

Core axiom

Reality is a continuous sequence of energy flows governed by nested impedance boundaries, driven asymmetrically by an expanding cosmic resonant pump.

This axiom is a theoretical statement, not an established scientific conclusion. Its value depends on whether the mechanisms can be defined clearly enough to generate distinctive, testable predictions.

Working vocabulary

Asymmetry
A meaningful offset or directional difference that permits change, transfer, or continued motion.
Nested system
A bounded system operating within larger systems while conditioning smaller systems inside it.
Boundary
The region where transfer conditions change and compatibility must be negotiated.
Impedance
Whatever resists, delays, redirects, stores, or conditions transfer through a system.
Continuity
The persistence of a sequence through change, rather than perfect sameness from one state or scale to the next.

Failed predictions, alternative explanations, and negative results remain part of the record rather than being explained away after the fact.
